Assessment of your level
Before taking a course at the Nederlandse Academie, each student takes a level test.
This test allows us to assess your knowledge, assign you a level and form groups in case of group courses.
The placement test is included in the registration process. It allows our teachers to evaluate your skills in comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and expression, at no extra cost.
This test is therefore intended solely to determine your level to join the right group.

If you wish to receive the detailed result of your test, it is possible to request it separately.
This assessment gives you a clear picture of your overall level and can help you better plan your progress if you wish to learn Dutch, English or French.
The Nederlandse Academie level test is an internal tool: it is not recognised for official procedures (for example with SELOR or other institutions).
