General terms and conditions for service provision
Art 1- Application of general terms and conditions for service provision: These terms and conditions of sale apply without restriction or reservation to all services offered by the company Professional Education/Nederlandse Academie. These terms of service are brought to the attention of the customer. Consequently, requesting the services of the company Professional Education/Nederlandse Academie implies full and complete acceptance of these general terms and conditions of service provision. These general terms and conditions of sale therefore apply from the moment the deposit is paid or the registration form is signed.
Art 2- Course subscription Any course subscription has a validity period of 6 calendar months from the date of the first course. Beyond this period, the lessons are forfeited.
Art 3- Rates and payment Services are payable in full. Each course package must be paid in its entirety before the 1st course.
Art 4- Cancellation conditions The cancellation of a private or corporate lesson must be made at the latest 24 hours in advance (business day), failing which the lesson is forfeited. In the case of fixed-day group courses, the lesson not attended is forfeited and cannot be made up. No cancellation of a module is possible once the deposit is paid or the registration form is signed for approval. No transfer from one course formula to another is possible after the courses have begun.
Art 5- Service provider liability Nederlandse Academie reserves the right to postpone a group course if the minimum number of students (3 students) is not reached.
Nederlandse Academie cannot guarantee the retention of a single teacher throughout the duration of the training. Following the health crisis, all our course formulas have been adapted to the possibility of now being delivered remotely via videoconferencing tools. We therefore reserve the right to immediately switch from one formula to another depending on any new lockdown episodes.
The starting level assigned is for informational purposes only and can be adapted at any time if the teacher deems it necessary. For pedagogical efficiency reasons, A0 levels (true beginner level) and A1 levels (false beginner level) are systematically and deliberately merged. This strategy is part of the Forcing spirit of Nederlandse Academie. Out of respect for students who have chosen to commit fully to their learning, we ask you to strictly observe the following two rules:
1° In-depth study of course work (preparations): Students who have not prepared their courses may be excluded except in case of force majeure.
2° Strict adherence to course schedules. The school therefore reserves the right to exclude the student for the day of course (Students who arrive after the start of courses, except in case of force majeure)
Nederlandse Academie shall not be considered responsible or in default for any delay or non-performance of a service. Another course will however be scheduled to deliver the lesson. Nederlandse Academie may in no way be held liable for damages of any kind for material or immaterial harm.
Art 6- Computers and freedoms In accordance with the general regulation on data protection (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27/4/2016 (hereinafter, "the European data protection regulation"), it is recalled that the personal data requested from the customer is exclusively intended for internal use by Nederlandse Academie. The customer has a right of access, modification, correction and objection regarding information concerning them.
Art 7- Court competent in case of dispute, the court of Brussels is competent
